Anthony Nieves (KnuckleUp) vs Ryan Peace (Contemporary MA)

Nieves immediately displays quick feet with shots to all parts of Peace’s body. Peace’s response is limited while Nieves attacks on multiple levels with hands and feet. Nieves dominates this round but is unable to seriously damage Peace.

Nieves was slower to start this round and just when it seemed Peace was not willing to mount an offense he explodes with a great head kick and flurry of punches that gets Nieves into trouble. Serious blows are exchanged between the two for the remainder of the round. Peace brings some solid punches and the occasional head kick that keeps Nieves guessing. Nieves’s speed is still a factor and he manages to land good jabs and leg kicks.

The third round had the fighters exchanging serious blows with Peace edging out the action with a tactical knee strike to the liver. Peace’s corner erupted with shouts for more knees to the area but Nieves was able to protect himself at the cost of his offense. Peace certainly dominated the round.

Body shots. It was all about body shots in round 4. Nieves responded in kind and targeted Peace’s liver. With precise strikes Nieves downed Peace 3 different times with shots to the body. Nieves prevails and takes the Bangkok Boxing middleweight Muay Thai belt.

Anthony Nieves wins by TKO in the 4th round.
